“Senior-Health-News Report”

Staying as current as possible on senior-health-news and topics is essential to maintain a safe and happy retirement. This has never been more necessary given the volatility of the current political and financial environment.

Some life circumstances with which we have to deal are the result of personal choices and some are the result of environmental factors beyond our control. But many of these circumstances can be managed or avoided if we recognize them and develop a plan to cope with them. But developing a viable plan requires knowledge. Knowledge empowers us to not only survive but to thrive as well.

The “Senior-Health-News Report” is intended to help us stay as current as possible on those issues that impact our lives. Our environment is dynamic and changes in that environment are complex. It is my hope that trust in God, my research, your participation and an occasional expert guest commentary will provide information that would help us to cope with change proactively rather than reactively.

We will endeavor to report on topics that could impact the quality of our retirement lifestyle in future issues of the newsletter. These topics could include:

Focusing on healthy living is recognition that life is a gift from God. Good health is the top priority and prevention is the key to a healthy life. And prevention is dependent on desire and knowledge. You have to want and choose to do what is necessary for a happy, healthy life. Hopefully our newsletter and other resources provide on this site may be able to provide the knowledge. But the desire is up to you.

I don’t know where you are on life’s continuum. I started late in life to get serious about retirement issues including nutrition and fitness. I sometimes regret not starting earlier. Learn from the past but don’t let it consume you. Make the choice to look forward. Trust that you with God’s help have a healthier future in store for you.
